Aidan Mikhail

My Story

I started learning how to code when I was around 9 years old after my brother introduced me to a Powerpoint scripting language and have never looked back. Since then, I have been learning and developing my skills in programming and software development. I am passionate about creating innovative solutions and continuously improving my abilities in the tech industry.

I love backend development and specifically automation systems. The idea of creating systems that can speed up peoples lives and make their work easier is super interesting to me. I have experience in many programming languages and am always up to learn more!

Ecole Secondaire Catholique Renaissance

2020 - 2024

I attended ESC Renaissance, a fully french school which allowed me to become fluent in both English and French. I also won the schools award for Technological Excellence.

Bachlor of Computing - Computer Science

University of Guelph

2024 - 2029

I have been actively involved in various extracurricular activities and leadership roles, growing my skills as a communicator and leader, these include:

  • Director of External Affairs, Gryphon Gaming
  • Co-President, Gryphon Esports

INTERESTS

What I like to do

Gaming

Being a part of a lot of Gaming clubs at the university has allowed me to meet a lot of new people and make new friends. I have also been able to develop my leadership skills through these clubs.

Programming

Whenever I have free time I like to work on personal projects that allow me to work on my programming skills and improve myself.

Rock Climbing

Rock climbing is one of my favorite hobbies. It helps me stay physically fit and mentally focused.
